Information
Leaves mostly elliptic-oblong. Flowers considerably smaller than in the type. Receptacle and calyx together 1 lin. long. Calyx 1/2 lin. long. Corolla under 1 1/4 in. long, basal swelling subglobose, 1 1/2 lin. in diam.; lobes about 3 lin. long. Anthers 7/8 lin. long.

Nigeria Upper Guinea Nupe, on Anona sp., Barter, 1126! on Mimosa asperata, Linn., Barter, 1149! Bornu, on Acacia spp. and a great variety of other trees, Vogel, 79! Bure, near Lake Chad, Elliott, 115!Cameroons Upper Guinea near Garua, 1000 ft., Ledermann, 3503, 3593!
