Information
Rhizome up to 2 cm. in diam., creeping, with tufted fronds and with brown ovate-acuminate entire rhizome-scales up to 1 cm. long. Frond arching, firmly herbaceous. Stipe up to 47 cm. long, nitid, castaneous at least in the lower 1/2, glabrous at maturity. Sterile lamina up to 63 x 21 cm., imparipinnate, oblong-acute in outline, lower pinnae not reduced; pinnae up to 13.5 x 1.7 cm., minutely serrate, glabrous on both surfaces except for scattered brown ovate-lanceolate scales up to 3 mm. long along the costa dorsally. Fertile lamina up to 40 x 13 cm., narrowly oblong-acute in outline, lower pinnae not reduced; pinnae up to 12 x 0.4 cm., undulate, narrowly linear-acuminate, petiolate, slightly auricled at the base, glabrous except for brown scales along the costa dorsally. Sori linear, almost marginal; indusium brown, c. 1 mm. broad.
