Information
Terrestrial, lithophytic or epiphytic herb, 8–40 cm tall.Pseudobulbs to 7 × 1.5 cm, conical, 2–5-leaved.Leaves 5–14 × 1–7.5 cm, lanceolate or ovate, acute, plicate, thin-textured.Inflorescence laxly c. 25-flowered; peduncle with 1–several triangular bracts.Flowers green to yellow-green, or clear yellow, turning buff-orange with age; lip with a metallic grey or orange central line.Pedicel and ovary 7–11 mm long; bracts 10–15 mm long, lanceolate, acuminate.Dorsal sepal erect, 8–11 × 1–2.5 mm, linear-lanceolate; lateral sepals 6–9 × 2.5–4 mm, obliquely elliptic, falcate, obtuse, lying under the lip.Petals 5–12 × c. 0.5 mm, linear, acute, pointing downwards and outwards.Lip 5–7 × 6–8 mm, orbicular or transversely oblong, auriculate at base, the margin entire, with a bifid callus in the throat.Column 3–4 mm long, arched to form almost a right angle.
