LINDERNIA brevidens Skan. [family SCROPHULARIACEAE]
Information
Closely resembles L. diffusa in habit and foliage, but it is almost glabrous, and has longer peduncles and shorter calyx-teeth. Flowers axillary, solitary; peduncles 4 1/2 lin. long. Calyx 2 1/2 lin. long, 5-ribbed, the posticous and lateral ribs very narrowly winged; teeth 1/2– 2/3 lin. long, somewhat unequal, ovate, acute. Corolla 4 lin. long. Anticous filaments gibbous at the base. Capsule narrowly oblong, 6 lin. long, acuminate.
