Information
erect, virgate, suffruticose, the rib-striate stem, the petioles and peduncles villoso-canescent; leaves short, 7–8-jugate, leaflets lanceolate-oblong, villoso-canescent on both sides; racemes on long peduncles, floriferous beyond the middle, many-flowered, elongating; pedicels longer than the villous calyx; ovary glabrous; legumes (small) glabrous, compressed, elliptical, acute, substipitate, 2–3 seeded. Seemingly 2–3 feet high, rigid, subsimple, all parts hoary with loose, soft, short, and very slender hairs. Peduncles somewhat panicled toward the end of the stem, 5–6 inches long or more, at first densely flowered; fl. 2–2 1/2 lines long, pale. Petioles 1 1/2 inch long, the leaflets 2–3 lines apart, 4–6 lines long, about two wide. Legumes 5 lines long, 3 lines wide, pale yellowish-horn colour.
