LASIOPOGON micropoides DC. [family COMPOSITAE], l. c. 246;—Harv. Thes. Cap. t. 150.
Information
heads with about 20–25 perfect, and 15–18 female flowers. Branched from the base, 1–3 inches high, suberect, the branches ending in globose, woolly glomerules of 8–12 heads. Leaves 3–5 lines long, 1–2 lines wide, thinly membranous. Closely resembling L. muscoides with larger fl.-heads, and fewer female flowers in proportion to the perfect ones, but more erect.

SOUTH AFRICA Betw. Zilverfontein, Kooper-bergen and Kaus, Drege! β. near Verleptpram, on the Gariep, Drege. Modderfontein, Rev. H. Whitehead! (Herb. Hk., D., Sd.)
