bulb 1/2 in. diam.; leaves 2, fleshy, lanceolate, falcate, 6–9 in. long, 1/2–1 in. broad, rough, with pustules on the face; peduncle 3–6 in. long; flowers in a dense subspicate raceme 2–3 in. long, nearly an inch in diameter, lower patent, upper erectopatent; pedicels very short, erecto-patent; bracts minute; perianth oblong, 1/3 in. long, 1/6 in. diam., white or faintly tinged with red; outer segments a little longer than the inner, spreading at the tip; stamens slightly exserted. null
