Branches 1/2–1 foot or longer. Leaves about 1 inch long, 3–4 lines broad, adpressed-hairy, sometimes glabrous above, ciliated at the base; upper ones smaller, bract like. Peduncles longer than the leaves, 1/2–1 inch long, the pedicels spreading, about twice shorter. Corolla 2 lines long, glabrous in the throat, the 4 lobes acute, anthers subexserted. Capsule crowned with the short calyx-teeth.
