Information
sparsely hairy; leaves biternate, thick, subglabrous, segments ovate or cordate sharply serrate, the lateral ones obliquely truncate, or cordate at base, subsessile; peduncles patent, umbellate, the umbel many rayed; pedicels pubescent or villous; petals subspathulate, obtuse; ovaries glabrous, shorter than the subulate style. Leaves 6–9 inches broad, on long, somewhat hairy petioles; the leaflets 1–2 inches long and nearly glabrous. Umbel varying much in composition and pubescence.—A smaller and less common plant than K. vesicatoria, with more sharply serrate leaves, smaller fruits and longer styles. Vars. β. and γ. are remarkable forms, seemingly depauperated.
