Information
sparsely hispid; leaves biternate, segments subglabrous, ovate, acute, sharply serrate, the lateral ones subsessile, obliquely truncate at base; peduncles tall, erect, branched near the summit; petals broadly linear; ovaries densely setose, half as long as the filiform styles. Petioles and scapes thinly sprinkled with soft, spreading hairs; leaves nearly glabrous, except along the veins. Scapes 2 feet high or more. Ovaries densely clothed with rigid, white bristles; by which character this species is readily known from the preceding.
