Information
leaves linear, moderately firm in texture, 1 1/2 ft. long, 1/4– 1/3 in. broad low down, sharply keeled, smooth on the edge, with 10–12 fine in-distinct veins on each side of the midrib; peduncle slender, not longer than the leaves; raceme very dense, 2–3 in. long, under 2 in. diam.; pedicels very short; bracts oblong-lanceolate, 1/4– 1/3 in. long; flowers pale yellow, or tinged with purple; perianth cylindrical, 1–1 1/4 in. long, 1/6 in. diam. at the throat; segments broad ovate, as broad as long; stamens and style not exserted. null
