Notes
Huxley 128 (Tanzania, Moshi District, Machame Central Girl’s School, 22 Feb. 1955) is a distinctive hairy-capsuled variant of O. capensis showing an approach to O. fastigiata, and some of the inflorescences have quite distinct peduncles. Greenway & Kanuri 12348 (Tanzania, Arusha District, Ngurdoto Crater National Park, Ngongongare, 19 Feb. 1966) is a similar plant but rather near to O. corymbosa var. caespitosa. It is possible these two variants should be given names under either O. capensis or O. corymbosa.
