Information
Densely caespitose perennial up to 30 cm tall; leaf laminas 3–7 cm × 2–3 mm, sometimes flat but more usually involute.Raceme 1–2.5 cm long.Spikelets c. 3.5 mm long; inferior glume c. 2.4 mm long, narrowly lanceolate, with an awnlet c. 1 mm long; superior glume c. 2.7 mm long, lanceolate, with an awn c. 2.7 mm long; fertile lemma c. 3 mm long, ovate; 2nd lemma c. 2.9 mm long, narrowly oblong-elliptic, with an awn c. 3 mm long; distal florets reduced to a scale up to 1 mm long and 4 awns c. 3.5 mm long.
