Information
Lower leaves circular, obovate to spathulate, rarely linear-spathulate, the median similar but narrower, the upper ones spathulate to lanceolate or linear, rounded, obtuse to subacute at the apex, usually entire or sometimes shallowly crenate towards the apex, attenuate or contracted at the base, at least the lower petiolate; petiole up to 1·2 cm. long, neither connate with the opposite one nor deccurent along the stem.
Habitat
In woodland, open and secondary forests, savannas, open veld, etc., on sandy or rocky soils or on rocks, either in dry or wet habitats, sometimes in salt marshes.
