Notes
Krauss, 304, is a fine and typical example of this species, and is written up by Nees' hand as his Chætacanthus Persoonii α. The var. β, late-ovata, is probably specifically distinct, the leaves being very unlike in structure to those of any other plant referred to J. pulegioides.
