Information
softly white hairy on the stems, at the nodes and the base of the leaves; branches 8–12 in. long, divided, weak; leaves 1 1/4 by 1/4– 1/3 in., elliptic or subovate; peduncles numerous, 1–1 3/4 in. long, bearing in the upper half 3–5 separate (mostly alternate) flowers; bracts or bracteoles linear, smaller than the calyx; calyx-lobes 1/8 in. long, linear, nearly glabrous; corolla 1/4 in. long; capsule 1/3 in. long, glabrate, with 4 rugose seeds. null
Range
Common in Tropical Africa, south to Matabeleland.

Notes
