branches terete, scandent, pubescent, becoming naked; twigs, leaves and pedicels softly albo-pubescent; leaves very shortly petiolate, ovate, obtuse or acute; peduncle terminal, 3-flowered; calyx glabrous, its lobes 5–6, broadly triangular, much shorter than the tube; corolla-tube about 1/2 in. long; lobes oblong, subacute. null

Notes
With much of the aspect of J. streptopus, but with much more copious whitish pubescence; more ovate, blunter leaves, and different calyx and corolla.
