Information
corm globose, 1/2– 3/4 in. diam.; tunics of fine parallel fibres; produced leaves about 4 at the base of the stem and 2 above, linear, glabrous, moderately firm in texture, 1/2–1 ft. long, 1/8– 1/4 in. broad, strongly ribbed, acuminate; stem slender, terete, 1–2 ft. long, simple or branched; flowers many, in erect, dense spikes with a flexuose rachis; outer spathe-valve oblong, tricuspidate, pale green, 1/4 in. long; perianth-tube cylindrical, mostly exserted from the spathe; limb white, 1/3– 1/2 in. long, with oblong segments; anthers lanceolate, 1/6 in. long; filaments short; style a little exserted with branches reaching to the top of the anthers. null
