Information
Biramous hairs on stems and leaves more or less crisped and spreading at the tips. Multicellular hairs on pods and stems pale, up to 1.0 or rarely 1.5 mm. long. Petiole rarely more than 3 mm. long. Fertile part of raceme about as long as peduncle. Calyx-lobes usually about as long as the stamens (± 4 mm.), sometimes shorter. Pod 8 or rarely 10 mm. long, often pale through an excess of white over dark hairs. Fig. 42/14, p. 281.
