Stems robust, 2–3 feet long, spreading widely. Whole plant densely clothed with loosely spreading, longer or shorter, white hairs; the stems, peduncles and petioles roughly villoso-hirsute. Leaves 1–1 1/2 inch long, patent. Leaflets 4–5 lines long, 2–3 wide. Peduncles 2–3 times as long as the leaves; the spike 1–1 1/2 inch long. Calyces very hoary. Unripe legumes an inch long, 3/4 line in breadth.
