Information
Straggling herb 2–3 ft. high; petals white with pink tinge, spur yellow-green at tip, purplish above with more or less distinct transverse bars on the lip.

Notes
[Gilg suggested that I. affinis is a hybrid between I. burtoni and I. mannii, but it appears to me to be only a pubescent form of mannii; the indumentum character is not correlated with the barring of the spur and lip as suggested by Hutch. & Dalz.—R.W.J.K.]
