Information
bulb globose, with pale membranous tunics produced 1 1/2–2 in. above its neck; leaves 2, contemporary with the flowers, linear, glabrous, 1/2–1 ft. long, 1/6 in. broad; peduncle stout, 4–8 in. long; flowers 20–30; pedicels 1 1/2–2 1/2 in. long; spathe-valves lanceolate, greenish, reflexing; perianth-segments lanceolate, 1/4– 1/3 in. long, 1/12 in. broad, joined in a very short tube at the base; stamens as long as the perianth-segments, filaments connate at the base; ovary globose, 1/12 in. diam.; style as long as the stamens, slender, minutely tricuspidate at the tip. null
