Information
leaves radical, petiolate, ovate or obovate, obtuse, ciliated, glabrous above, whitish-tomentose beneath; stem glabrous, a little branched, leafless. Stem 1–2 feet. Leaves 2–3 inches long, 1–1 1/2 inch broad, shortly ciliate. Petiole shorter or as long as the leaf. Rays of umbel 3/4–1 inch, twice longer than the many-leaved involucre. Flowers white. Fruit nearly 2 lines in length.

SOUTH AFRICA Mountains, Hottholld., near Somerset and Vanstadensriviersberge, Thunb. E. & Z.; Dutoitskloof, Drege. Jan.-Feb. (Herb. Sd. Hk.)
