Information
Herb or subshrub up to c. 0.5 m tall, densely pubescent with short hairs and also with long bristly hairs. Leaf-blades lanceolate to elliptic or narrowly ovate, 0.7–5 x 0.2–1.8 cm, attenuate at the base, ± acute at the apex; petiole 0–1 cm long. Flowers sessile in simple or paired up to 15 cm long cymes; bracts absent. Calyx hispid; lobes linear to lanceolate, 3–4.5 mm long. Corolla white or cream; tube 3–5 mm long, pubescent outside mainly along veins; lobes ± unequal, 1–2 mm long, obtuse to subacute, glabrous or pubescent along midvein outside. Style 0.1–0.5 mm long; stigmatic head narrowly conical, c. 3–5 mm long, glabrous, distinctly 2-fid, mostly exserted. Nutlets 4, 1.5–2 mm long, finely rugose.
