Information
herbaceous, glabrous, green; pods moniliform, suberect, tipped with a short style; leaves pinnatipartite, lobes 3–5 pair, linear, acute, the terminal elongated; petals oblong; stamens toothless. A foot high, resembling H. chamaemelifolia. Rachis of the leaves 2–3 inches long, 1/2 line wide; the lobes uncial, the terminal one longest. Raceme long; pedicels 5–6 lines long, those of the fruit 7–8 lines. Fl. white or rosy. Pods (young) 1 inch. β. has leaves twice as narrow; fruit pedicels 1 inch long; and twice larger, white flowers.
