Information
suffruticulose, glabrous; pods linear, spreading; leaves 3–5 lobed, the lobes subulate, short; stem scapelike, nearly leafless. Several stems from the same crown, a foot or more high, simple or branching. Leaves crowded below, erect, rigid, brittle when dry, filiform, some few undivided, the majority lobed; lobes 2–4 lines long, acute; petiole 1–2 inches long, Fruit pedicels 6 lines long. Petals lilac or flesh-coloured, 3 1/2 lines long. Pods 15–20 lines long, 1 1/2 lines wide, compressed, one-nerved, with a short style.
