Information
corm ovoid, 1/2 in. diam.; tunics of parallel fibres; produced leaves 3–4, firm in texture, narrow linear or subterete, 1/2–1 ft. long; stems slender, 1–2 ft. long, inflorescence included, simple or forked; flowers 6–12 in a lax distichous spike; outer spathe-valve lanceolate, greenish, 1/2–1 in. long; perianth-tube curved, funnel-shaped, 1/2 in. long; limb with a pink or lilac tinge; upper segment obovate, indistinctly cuspidate, 3/4 in. long, 1/3 in. broad; 2 side ones quadrate, with a long claw and distinct cusp; 3 lower oblong-unguiculate; stamens reaching more than halfway up the limb. null
