leafy stem 4–6 in. long, 1 1/2–2 in. diam., leaves included, copiously stoloniferous; leaves all ascending, multifarious, ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, 1–1 1/2 in. long, 1/2 in. broad, 1/4 in. thick, pale green when young, reddish-brown when old, turgid on the face, rounded on the back, obscurely keeled, with 9–11 vertical rows of raised white tubercles 1/3 lin. diam.; peduncle slender, simple, 1/2 ft. long; raceme lax, about 1/2 ft. long; pedicels very short; bracts minute, deltoid; perianth 5/8 in. long; limb half as long as the tube. null
