Haworthia limifolia

Acaulescent perennial herb, suckering from the base to form dense clusters of plants. Leaves spreading-ascending in a compact rosette to c. 12 cm in diameter; lamina 3–10 cm long, 2–4 cm wide at the base, deltoid and tapering to a sharp point, thick and stiff, uniformly bright green, ridged or ± smooth on both surfaces, obscurely keeled towards the apex on the lower surface, margin lightly ridged. Inflorescence simple, erect to 35 cm high; peduncle up to 20 cm long with a few scattered sterile bracts below the raceme. Raceme to 15 cm long, laxly flowered, bracteate; bracts c. 3 × 1.5 mm, deltoid-acute, membranous; pedicels 4–6 mm long. Perianth c. 14 mm long, cylindrical, c. 3.5 mm in diameter across the ovary, narrowing towards the mouth, two-lipped; segments white with a greenish-brown midrib, upper segments ± straight and erect, lower segments with tips recurved. Stamens and stigma included. Capsule and seeds not seen.
