Names
HYPERICUM somaliense N. Robson [family GUTTIFERAE], (1958);. type: N2, “Markat” (10°59’N, 48°30’E), Newbould 886 (K holo.). Fig. 145.
Information
Perennial herb, 10–60 cm tall, tomentose. Leaves sessile; blade 10–18(–23) x 4–8 mm, ovate or oblong, obtuse at the apex, rounded to somewhat clasping at the base. Flowers in corymbose cymes. Sepals up to 5 x 2 mm, with black submarginal dots. Petals yellow, 7–9 mm long. Stamens c. 30, in 3 clusters. Ovary 3-celled; styles 3, c. 6 mm long, free.

c. 1400–1440 m.
