Information
A largeforesttree, to 160 ft. high, with dense crown, long bole and rather heavy buttresses; bark pale grey-brown, flaking to expose “mussel shell” markings; slash fawn-pink, moist but without latex, very fragrant; flowers greenish-yellow; ripe fruits orange-yellow with a reddish blooms; seeds surrounded by an orange-coloured aril.
