Notes
Chakwala in C.A.W.M. 5341 (Tanzania, Chunya District, 1 km. W. of Itigi-Mbeya road, 28 Jan. 1969) may be a specimen of P. riparia but is very poor; it could just possibly be the first record of P. capensis (Eckl.) Vatke from the Flora area but I would hesitate to add it on the basis of this specimen. The two species are in any case exceedingly closely related.
