Information
Stems suffruticose, the branches long, filiform, climbing, terete, pubescent. Stipules ovate, acute, striated, Petioles 1–1 1/2 in. long, pilose; leaflets 3, ovate-oblong, 1–1 1/2 in. long, rounded and mucronate at the apex, subcoriaceous, both sides thinly pilose. Flowers axillary in pairs on a very short common peduncle. Pedicels 1/2 in. long, pilose, with a pair of setaceous bracteoles at the apex. Calyx pilose, the teeth setaceous, the two upper ones subconnate. Corolla white, half an inch long. Pod linear-oblong, an inch long, mucronate, flattish, quite glabrous, 4–5-seeded.

Guinea proper Upper Guinea Thonning.
Notes
This we have not seen, so that we cannot vouch for its belonging to the genus as here defined.
