Information
A shrub, 10 ft. high. Young branches with fascicles of short stiff hairs. Leaves oblong, long-acuminate, 8 in. long, 2 1/2 in. wide, obliquely cordate at the base, quite entire, glabrous above, hairy beneath especially on the nerves; petiole 1 lin. long. Flowers in axillary fascicles; pedicels villous, 2 lin. long. Perianth 1 1/2 lin. in diam., oblique, green, pubescent outside; lip about 2 in. long, 2 lin. wide at the base, triangular. Carpels about 5, fusiform, hairy.
