Information
corm globose, 1/2 in. diam.; tunics of strong, matted fibres; stems very slender, simple, 1–2 ft. long; leaves about 3, superposed, long-sheathing, subterete, rigid in texture, the lowest sometimes a foot or more long; flowers up to 5–6 in a lax secund spike, scentless; outer spathe-valve green, lanceolate, an inch long; perianth pale lilac-blue; tube curved, under an inch long, funnel-shaped in the upper half; limb 1–1 1/2 in. long; the upper segments oblong, shortly cuspidate, 1/3– 1/2 in. broad, the three lower narrower, longer, distinctly unguiculate; stamens reaching halfway up the limb. null
