Names
GERBERA discolor Sond. [family COMPOSITAE], ! in Hb.
Information
leaves oblongo-lanceolate or lanceolate, subacute, tapering much at base into a longish petiole, entire or subdenticulate, glabrous and green above, tomentose beneath; inv. sc. villous; ovaries hispidulous; pappus fulvous. Petioles 2–5 in. long; lamina 4–6 in. long, 3/4–1 inch wide. Scapes tomentose, 8–16 in. long. Heads like those of G. ambigua.
