Names
GERANIUM biuncinatum Kokwaro [family GERANIACEAE], (1971);. type: N2, “Sugli”, Collenette 289 (K holo.).
Information
Annual, erect or ascending, pubescent with short hairs and longer often glandular hairs. Leaves long-petiolate; blade usually 5-lobed, divided to about two-thirds of the radius; lobes 5–12 mm wide at the base, obovate, pinnatifid in upper part, pubescent. Inflorescences 1–3-flowered; peduncle 0–4 cm long; pedicels 2–20 mm long, glandular hairy. Sepals narrowly ovate, to 10 mm long in fruit, mucronate. Petals 6–9.5 mm long, mauve or pink. Mericarps 5–7 mm long, with revolute toothed wings along the edges and with 2 spreading horns, 2–4 mm long, at the apex; mature beak 9–13 mm long. Seeds 2–3 mm long, minutely reticulate, brownish.
