Information
Puberulous or nearly glabrous, about 10 feet high. Leaves elliptic-oblong, acuminate at both ends, chartaceous, 4–8 by 1 1/4–2 1/2 in.; lateral veins about 11–14 pairs; petiole 3/8– 1/2 in.; stipules 1/4– 1/3 in., acuminate. Flowers 1/2– 2/3 in. diameter. Bracteoles small. Calyx puberulous, 1/8 in. diameter. Stamens and style (including stigmas) about 1/4 in. long. Fruit 1/3 in. diameter.
