Information
stem and branches herbaceous, procumbent, as well as the leaves covered with short appressed hairs; leaves alternate, short-petiolate, obovate-spathulate, subcomplicate, obtuse, mucronate or acute, often recurved at the apex; flowers sessile, axillary, solitary, 5-parted; styles 3–5. Very nearly allied to G. secunda, and only distinguished by the more greenish or subglaucous colour and more distant leaves in the branches. The whole plant is very thinly pubescent, the young leaves opposite, old ones about 1/2 inch long, 2–3 lines wide, the upper smaller. Flowers usually more distant than in the preceding, 1 line long, pubescent on the outside.
