Information
Sparsely ciliate with slender pale bristles on the stemand leaves above.Stem 4-angled, erect from a prostrate rooting base. Leaves about 2/3 in. long and broad, glaucous beneath. Flowers solitary, 4-merous. Calyx-tube with a few long cilia; lobes 4, subulate-lanceolate, with long bristles. Petals not seen.
Distribution
Sierra Leone Upper Guinea Afzelius!
Notes
Possibly a ciliate 4-merous state of G. tenella. I have seen only a single specimen.
