Annual glaucous herb, becoming straggling and up to 60 cm long. Leaves long-petiolate, 2–3 times pinnately divided, with narrowly lanceolate, acute to apiculate leaflets. Racemes (7–)10–20-flowered; pedicels spreading in fruit. Flowers 5–6.5 mm long, pink with dark pink to purple tip; sepals ovate-acuminate; upper petal ± winged, keeled at apex, and with short basal spur; inner petals united at their apex; lower petal free. Fruit subglobose, 2.25–2.5 x 2–2.25 mm, obtuse and apiculate, rugose.
