Information
Tree or shrub, often semi-scandent. Leafy twigs glabrous, minutely puberulous or white to yellowish hirtellous. Leaf lamina elliptic to oblong, or broadly obovate to obtriangular; apex acuminate to rounded, emarginate or truncate; margin often revolute; midrib terminating at the leaf apex orwell before it. Lateral veins (4)6–10 pairs; stipules usually subsericeous to hirtellous with white to yellowish hairs, at least at the base, occasionally glabrous or sparsely puberulous, caducous leaving a fimbriate scar. Calyptrate bud cover enclosing minute young figs. Figs 0.5–1 cm. in diam. when dry; basal bracts caducous sometimes subpersistent
