Notes
This has been treated as F. isotricha Murb. by Hadidi in, e.g., Adumbr. 30: 98 (1978) and Fl. Trop. E. Afr. (1985). However, F. isotricha was treated as a synonym of F. latifolia, a North African species, by Beier (2005). The type of F. lahovarii was said to be from S Yemen in Adumbr. (1978) and Fl. Trop. E. Afr. (1985). However, the type locality is in E Ethiopia, very close to the type locality of F. harerensis. The records of F. sinaica Boiss. and F. subinermis Boiss. in Cuf. Enum.: 358 (1956) are both based on material of F. lahovarii.
