Information
glabrous; leaves crowded at the ends of the branches, linear-semiterete, fleshy, acute, some trifid, others (or all) undivided; peduncles filiform, as long or twice as long as the leaves; inv. scales 5–6, broadly ovate, subacute, connate at base only; achenes? A robust, dwarf scrub, with flexuous branches and twigs, all naked and cicatrised at base, with tufted leaves at the extremity. Leaves 1/2–1 inch long. Pedunc. 1–1 1/2 inch, thread-like. Heads like those of E. multifidus.
