leaves lorate-lanceolate, acute, moderately firm, persistent, above 2 ft. long, 2–3 in. broad at the middle, not undulated; peduncle cylindrical, 1/2 ft. long, 1/2 in. diam.; raceme moderately dense, 8–9 in. long, 2 in. diam.; lower pedicels erecto-patent, about 1/2 in. long; upper sometimes patent; lower bracts ovate; central longer, lanceolate; leaves of coma about a dozen, ovate, membranous, acute; perianth green, 1/2– 5/8 in. long; segments oblong; stamens much shorter than the perianth; capsule shorter than the perianth. null
