Notes
USES. None recordedCONSERVATION Least concern (LC) as it occurs in a common habitat range, over a reasonable altitude range At Kew Linder 2579 was placed in a type folder, with the “ Erica kingaensis Engl. subsp. linderi Mildbr. n.var.”; I have been unable to trace this name and believe it to be an unpublished one. The specimen is ± intermediate between the two Ugandan subspecies. The subspecies described by Spirlet was distinguished by characters that fall well within the range of variation of subsp. rugegensis. I have made it into a synonym.
