Notes
E. botryodes is distinguished by its dense panicle and dark green spikelets. The shape of spikelets and lemma, and the pubescent palea-keels, suggest intergradation with E. paniciformis; the latter has broader spikelets, distinctly ciliolate palea-keels, and the panicle is rarely contracted.
