Information
Rambling perennial. Culms 30–100 cm. high, decumbent below. Leaf laminae narrowly lanceolate to lanceolate, 6–26 mm. wide, faintly cross-nerved, broadly rounded at base. Inflorescence 10–25 cm. long, the racemes 4–12 cm. long, mostly divergent from the central axis, sometimes with secondary branchlets. Spikelets 4.5–6.5 mm. long, lanceolate. Glumes not separated, the superior glume and inferior lemma distinctly nipped at apex.
Habitat
Damp places or shallow water in shade of coastal forest.
