Drymaria villosa Chamb. & Schlect. [family CARYOPHYLLACEAE]
Description
A straggling prostrate or ascending herb with stems to about 45 cm long, a native of Central America and recorded also in Malesia. It has recently been reported in W Cameroon as a common adventive on palm and pepper plantations near Victoria (2), and as a medicinal herb at Bambui Experiment Station, but its medicinal use is not stated (1). It is likely to be similar to D. cordata.
