Scrophulariaceae:: 40, pl. 13 (1999) & in Fl. Ethiop. & Eritr. 5: 258 (2006). Type: Ivory Coast, valley between Langouassou and Mbayakro, Chevalier 22250 (P!, holo.; K!, iso.)
Information
Erect annual herb 9–14 cm high; stems simple or sparingly branched, ± fleshy, glabrous. Lower leaves in a basal rosette, lanceolate-ovate, 7–11 mm long, 3–4 mm wide, sessile, base tapering, apex acute, margins entire, parallel-veined; cauline leaves few and distantly placed, linear, ± 4 mm, decreasing in size, glabrous. Flowers in bracteate, few-flowered racemes; pedicels 6–10 mm long, filiform. Calyx ± 3 mm long, teeth acuminate, glabrous. Corolla purplish-blue; corolla tube campanulate, ± 3 mm long, upper limb 2–3 mm, entire, lower lip trilobed, 2–3 mm. Capsule ± 3 mm long.
